01.1 Overview of Services & Brand Ethos
Legacy Design Studio is dedicated to making a significant and lasting impact on the design community. Our ethos is rooted in generosity, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence. We strive to provide educational resources that are not only accessible but also of the highest quality, helping to elevate the collective expertise within the design industry. This approach defines our approach to our various products and services as Legacy Design Studio is not just aimed at providing educational resources to the design industry but also to be an active participant within it.
Legacy Design Studio is currently executing Stage 1 of a 9 stage business plan through which it aspires to develop long term industry leadership as both an educator as well as a participant within the design community. The Agenda of Legacy Design studio is to increase the accessibility of high quality educational resources, developing business models to increase the impact that designers can have, and providing design excellence throughout the range of products and services offered by our Studio. The product and service offerings for Stage 1 of Legacy Design Studio are as follows:
Educational Resources
Legacy Design Studio is dedicated to providing a range of free and paid educational resources aimed at elevating the skill sets from a beginner to expert level in architectural digital modelling, visualisation, and parametric design, as well as photography and videography workflows. We hope to make these resources as clear and succinct as possible to elevate the skillsets of the industry as a whole. Read through our courses page to preview the library of resources that Legacy currently offers. Through these resources we also aspire to embrace a multidisciplinary approach, extending our teaching to include elements of fashion and industrial design. This broad perspective helps our students become versatile designers whose skills can transition across various design fields.
Patreon
We aim to release as many valuable resources to the community in a way that is as accessible as possible. Ideally we would not charge for any educational resources or guidance, however for obvious reasons, we would not be able to sustainably offer anything to the community without some form of monetisation strategy. Long term we hope to share our resources as freely as possible by building up a community of patrons as well as generating revenues from our associated physical product ranges that would directly contribute to our educational offerings.
Consultations
Legacy will seek to set up a consultation service to allow our community to receive guidance directed to their specific needs. This service is aimed at supporting educational development, these consultations are intended to deepen understanding and improve practical skills, rather than for professional collaboration.
Product Ranges
Legacy Design Studio is excited to introduce a range of design tools which form part of our holistic approach to supporting the growth and development of the design community. We aim to offer innovative design tools to the community that feel intuitive, efficient, and seamlessly integrate into enthusiast and professional workflows to empower designers by significantly enhancing their creative capabilities and efficiency. We recognize the challenges and limitations that designers often face with conventional tools and aim to provide tools to the design community that are as accessible and satisfying to our community of creatives and design professionals.
Tool & Equipment Suggestions
Legacy Design Studio may provide direct guidance related to tools & equipment that we use in our own workflows or more generally with tools that we feel qualified to provide guidance on. We feel this forms part of our broader educational offerings. We hope that this can provide clarity and cut through the deliberately confusing hype around products related to the design community so that we can contribute to you making better, more informed decisions. We adamantly aspire to remain impartial, honest and ethical in advice we may make, regardless of whether we are affiliated with any brand, receive any benefits from a sponsorship or are remunerated through an affiliates program. If we do receive any form of remuneration from this we will endeavour to be open and upfront about this.
Artwork
We offer a range of artwork that explore our design and research agendas. These Artworks are explorations of our own design interests, creating a dynamic synergy between teaching and creative inquiry. They are intended to demonstrate the physical application of our design tasks and act as inspiration as well as a tangible lasting offering that will not become obsolete over time like the design research. These will be our enduring legacy of the various course offerings.
Fashion & Apparel
Legacy Design Studio intends to contribute to shared knowledge and resources that branch into other disciplines. In this case Legacy seeks to offer basic fashion & apparel as the first step into the industry. Legacy shares the same attention to detail and quality in these offerings as it does in all of its endeavours. The first fashion offerings are centred around comfort and everyday wear which will support the research and development of more niche, innovative offerings that Legacy intends to research, innovate and share disciplinary knowledge through.
01.2 Reference to the Term “Architectural”
The Architects Act 1991 (Victoria) protects the use of the term Architect or Architectural Services allowing it to only be used by those that are registered with the ARBV (Architects Registration Board of Victoria). According to the ARBV “The use of the title ‘architect’ and use of any derivatives of the word ‘architect’ or ‘architectural’ are only restricted where they relate to services provided in the built environment, such as those relating to the design, documentation, planning, and construction of buildings. These words can still be used more broadly when they cannot be confused with the provision of architectural services… a person may use the word ‘architectural’ to describe the supply of goods in connection with architecture, such as architectural photography, architectural visualisation etc”. Furthermore “ Graduates must always ensure that in referring to their graduate status they are providing an accurate statement of fact. They must take all necessary steps to avoid any confusion that they are a registered architect when they are not”
Legacy Design Studio & its Founder Jasper currently make no assertion to offer architectural services or be a registered architect. Jasper is a Graduate of Architecture holding a Bachelor and Masters Degree from an accredited University. Moreover, the “modelling & visualisation for Architects Megacourse” does not represent itself to be architectural services, they differentiate themselves as education resources for modelling & visualisation or BIM documentation, not as the services themselves and respects and complies with the strict laws protecting the use of the term architect and architectural Services. If you have any questions or comments regarding this you may direct your enquiries via email to info@legacydesignstudio.com.au

While the Services are accessible worldwide, not all Services or service features may be available in your country, nor are all User Contributions (as defined below) guaranteed to be legal in your country. Legacy Design Studio may block access to certain Services (or certain service features or content) in certain countries. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Services is legal in the country where you reside. Additionally, not all Services are available in all languages.
Services are available only to users who are above 16 years old; however, if you are younger than the required age for consent to use online services in your country, you should not use the Services. Instead, we encourage you to ask a parent or guardian to open an account and help you access content that is appropriate for you. You acknowledge that all information you provide for registration with the Services, or for other purposes, including but not limited to interactions through any interactive features, is governed by our Privacy Policy. By providing this information, you consent to all actions we take concerning your information in compliance with our Privacy Policy.
02.5 Corporate, University & Institutional Accounts
Legacy Design Studio offers corporate, university, and institutional accounts designed to facilitate group access to our educational and design services. A business or institution can set up a corporate account, which allows each employee or member to have their own individual account under the umbrella of the corporate account. It is important to note that each user must have their own unique account; account sharing is strictly prohibited.
Access to a corporate account must be limited strictly to employees of the business or members of the university or institution. These accounts cannot be extended to third parties. To manage these accounts effectively, the organisation must appoint an administrator. This administrator is responsible for approving new accounts for employees or members and for communicating with Legacy Design Studio to deactivate specific accounts as needed.
When a business, university, or institution holds a corporate account, it assumes full responsibility for the actions, conduct, and omissions of its employees or members in relation to this
Agreement and the use of the Services. All such activities are considered as if they were directly undertaken by the organisation itself. This ensures that the organisation maintains control over how the Services are used within their structure and upholds the standards set forth in our Terms of Use.
03.1 Account Security Overview
At Legacy Design Studio, maintaining the security of your account is crucial. If you choose or are provided with a username, password, or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential and not disclose it to any other person or entity. You also acknowledge that your account is personal to you and agree not to provide any other person with access to this site or portions of it using your username, password, or other security information.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your username or password or any other breach of security, you must notify Legacy Design Studio immediately. Additionally, ensure that you log out of your account at the end of each session, particularly when accessing your account from a public or shared computer, to prevent others from viewing or recording your password or other personal information.
Legacy Design Studio will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages incurred as a result of such acts or omissions. It is essential to adhere to these security measures to protect your account and sensitive information.
03.2 Usernames And passwords

Under no circumstances should you share your password with anyone else. Additionally, you must not share, transfer, sell, rent, lend, or otherwise dispose of your username or password associated with the Platform. Engaging in any of these actions can lead to the termination or suspension of your account, and under these circumstances, Legacy Design Studio is not obligated to provide a refund.
If we detect any misuse or suspected misuse of your login details, such as the use of your login details concurrently on more sessions than allowed, your account may be terminated or suspended, without a refund.
It is imperative that you inform us immediately if you suspect or become aware of any security breach related to your account. Following any suspected security issue, you must promptly change your password to prevent further unauthorised access.

07.1 Nature of Advice
Any reports provided by us to you when using the Services are general and for informational purposes only. The Services may use algorithm-based modelling to produce computer-generated outputs. Such outputs may be generated: (i) by a computer-driven mathematical model in reliance on available data (including data provided by third parties and by you); (ii) without the physical inspection of the subject site; (iii) without considering any market conditions; and (iv) without identifying observable features or risks which may, together or separately, affect the site.
The output of the Services is not reviewed by a human before being provided to you or to other users. Any outputs generated must not be relied upon as professional advice. The Services do not provide a professional opinion. We do not verify the accuracy or completeness of any data provided by any third party or by you to us. Furthermore, we do not provide financial, investment, or other advice.
07.2 Reliance on Any Information Posted
The information presented on or through the Services is made available solely for general information purposes. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by you or any other visitor to the Services, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.
The Services may include content provided by third parties, including materials provided by other users, bloggers, and third-party licensors, syndicators, aggregators, and/or reporting services. Legacy Design Studio has not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material posted to the Services. All statements and/or opinions expressed in these materials, and all articles and responses to questions and other content, other than the content provided by Legacy Design Studio, are solely the opinions and the responsibility of the person or entity providing those materials. These materials do not necessarily reflect the opinion of Legacy Design Studio. We are not responsible, or liable to you or any third party, for the content or accuracy of any materials provided by any third parties.
07.3 Maintenance
We periodically conduct maintenance in respect of the Services. During a maintenance period, some or all of the Services may be unavailable, or some features may not work as expected. We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of any scheduled maintenance by posting a relevant notice on our website. We reserve the right to interrupt the Services from time to time, as and when we deem appropriate, to perform maintenance relating to the Services.
07.4 Updates
We may change, modify, or remove some or all of the features of the Services at any time. While we may offer enhancements or updates to the Services, we are under no obligation to do so. Any enhancements or updates made available to you will be governed by this Agreement unless they come with separate terms agreed to by you.
If we intend to discontinue any material functionality of the Services, we will provide you with at least 2 months’ prior notice. However, this notice period will not be required if providing such notice would pose a security or intellectual property issue to us or the Services, or if it would cause us to violate any law. If a change detrimentally impacts you, you may cancel the Service effective at the end of the 2 months’ notice period and receive a pro rata refund of any prepaid unused Subscription Fees.
07.5 Fees
Refer to Item 15 of the Terms of Service of information on fees.
07.6 Subscriptions
Legacy Design Studio offers various subscription types for our platform, with features and details for each subscription set out on our website at https://legacydesignstudio.com.au/. When you subscribe via our website, you select the subscription type that best suits your needs. Subscriptions are valid for the specified period, commencing on the date you subscribe (“Effective Date”).
Subscriptions can be either free or paid. Each type of subscription has a different subscription fee and associated billing period (“Subscription Fee”), with details about pricing, subscription periods, and subscription types available on our website. To purchase a subscription, you must have an account. While you are not required to purchase a subscription, please note that you will not receive the benefits of a paid subscription if you do not.
You only receive the benefits of a paid subscription if you pay the Subscription Fee. Unless otherwise stated, the Subscription Fee is either an annual or monthly prepaid fee, payable in advance by credit or debit card. Subscription Fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription during its term, no part of the Subscription Fee is refundable, but you may continue to use the subscription for the remainder of the subscription period.
We may use a payment gateway or payment service provider to process your Subscription Fee payments. While we strive to ensure secure transactions, we are not responsible for the operation or security of these third-party payment products. Please review the terms of any payment gateway before completing any transactions with us.
If your payment is rejected or refunded, we reserve the right to charge you any fees incurred by us from our payment gateway or payment service provider, such as charge-back fees, and we may cancel your account. Additionally, we reserve the right to reject any application for a subscription.
07.7 Subscription Renewal and Cancellation
Your subscription to the Platform will automatically renew at the end of the applicable subscription period for additional one-year or one-month periods (depending on the subscription period you selected), unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the then-current subscription period using the self-serve account management features on our website. The cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription period. You will not receive a refund or credit for any partial subscription periods if you cancel early unless we are at fault.
We may inform you before the end of your subscription period that we are not renewing your subscription, in which case your subscription will not automatically renew and will terminate at the end of your current subscription period.
07.8 Refunds
The following guidelines apply to refunds: (i) Refunds are not available for accounts that violate these Terms of Use or, at Legacy Design Studio’s sole and absolute discretion, are otherwise objectionable; (ii) If Legacy Design Studio determines that you are abusing our refund policy, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse or restrict any and all current or future use of the Service without delivering a refund; (iii) To request a refund, please contact us through our web form; (iv) Legacy Design Studio will apply your refund to your original payment method; (v) Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to offer partial refunds for your purchases.
If within the first 14 days after you purchased a course you become dissatisfied with that course, Legacy Design Studio will refund the full amount of your purchase and subsequently terminate your access to that course. Refunds will not be available if requested after this 14-day period. Due to possible currency exchange rate fluctuations with your local currency and the Australian dollar, the refunded amount may be slightly higher or lower than your original paid amount. To access this refund you need to let us know why this service has not met your hopes or expectations.
In addition to the above, if you purchase a course or any other paid service through a mobile or third-party marketplace (e.g., purchases through the Apple or Google Play App Store), the refund policy applicable to that third-party marketplace will apply unless otherwise explicitly stated by Legacy Design Studio. Except as otherwise explicitly stated by Legacy Design Studio, the third-party marketplace will be solely responsible for making refunds under its refund policy, and Legacy Design Studio will have no refund obligations. Legacy Design Studio disclaims any responsibility or liability related to any third-party marketplace’s refund policy or the third party’s compliance or noncompliance with such policy.
